A downloadable game

A board game that requires very little setup and allows you to betray your friends in spectacular manners.

Specifications on the rules:

Health: There is no health. If you take damage, you die. You can determine the number of lives before game start.

Moves: Play rock paper scissors until all players make 2 gestures. Those who win get a move. You can use a move to equip/proceed with an item, switch targets, or use your class ability (if your ability requires a move)

Items:

Once you use an item, they return to an unequipped state.

Sword

Equip sword - prepare to strike - strike

Disarms opponent if they are holding a crossbow. Removes 5 layers off of shield. Kills if they're holding a sword, a hammer, or nothing. Switching targets takes one move, and if you were prepared to strike before moving, you go back to the "equip sword" step.

After striking, you enter a "combo" state, meaning that if you win the next round, you can immediately prepare to strike again at your previous target without having to reequip the sword

Crossbow

Equip crossbow - load crossbow - charge crossbow (optional) - aim - fire

Deals 2 base damage. After loaded, can be charged with a move. Max 5 levels of charge. Each level of charge adds 1 damage. Switching targets takes one move, and if you were aimed before moving, you have to aim again.

Shield

Equip shield - add 1 stack

Each stack blocks 1 damage. A level 1 shield can block an uncharged crossbow, though.

Status Effects

Stun: When stunned, you cannot perform any action. Each round removes 1 level of stun.

Freeze: When frozen, you cannot perform any action. Each move that you get removes 1 level of freeze.

Order of actions

When multiple actions are performed by the players in the same round, the order of these actions is determined by the player's themselves. The  rule is that the order of action must always be the worst possible case for those who struck with swords. For example, say A is prepared to strike at B, and B is holding nothing. A and B both get a move in the same round. B chooses to equip crossbow. In this case, A's action (striking) should happen after B equips the crossbow, so that A cannot kill B.

Determining moves with rock paper scissors is creative and a lot more fun than rolling dices or fixed moves!

Backstabbing is the funniest part
